Sadly, the author of these salmon fishing reports and founder of the Wye & Usk Foundation, Dr Stephen Marsh-Smith OBE, passed away in August 2020. His last report was in June that year. This and his previous monthly reports can still be read in this section.
From the start of 2022, Oliver Burch, writer of our Trout & Grayling report, has kindly agreed to write about salmon catches too. His first 'Game Fishing Report' will be published in early February 2022.
