Lovely spot and excellent access - there was a down stream wind and the river was heavy with leaves so a little challenging to keep bait leaf free. 1 lovely graying in about 2 hours fishing
I will definitely return when the leaves have fallen

Many Salmon showing. Two Otters swam past. The One Grayling I caught might possibly be the smallest ever caught. Beautiful autumn colours.

Water was quite flooded out from all the rain making access to wade near impossible except along the margins on the main stretch. Challenging day one grayling on a pink tag up against the bank. No signs of life for the rest of the day.
Loads of leaves and logs washing through. Two orange white water rafts with 6 folks on each came paddling through the beat early afternoon.
Great day on the river, attrocious fishing.

6 Grayling, all on the smaller side. Taken on a mix of duo (PTN on the dropper) and euronymph. Also moved two to the dry fly but failed to hoot up. One out of season BT, returned swiftly.
A Salmon leapt three times at the bottom of Lady Alexander's Catch (or three fish?!), just after the Salmon fisherman who submitted the return below had been through the pool and moved on!
