Hard days fishing conditions looked spot on cloudy and not as hot as previous days fished the beach spent an afternoon trotting meat,pellets and corn but just a solitary chub of around 2lb.

I’ll health scratched this I am afraid but now back on th bank:))

Fished from 11- 3-30 on the float 1 small barbel around 3lb and 3 decent sized perch all on meat ,went back for last hour until dark 3 chub up to 4lb 6oz again on meat.

2 small chub water low but all baits failed to attract attention. :(

Hot sunny day river low 6 decent size chub the other were 3 perch the largest 2lb 6oz,all caught on meat.

Good access to the river. Unfortunately spent most of the day trapped under a brolly. All fish caught trotting meat

First time at Canon Bridge but would definitely return. Beautiful setting and very much liked the ease of access and ability to drive along the bank to the swim. Easy to find and only a short walk to the bank. One early morning barbel of 8.5lb to halibut pellet. One chub to meat pellet before heavy rain set late morning water to colour up quickly bringing fishing to a soggy end.
