Such a beautiful beat this. Fished bottom end below hut. Very little on the surface but a few fish nonetheless to euronymph and a couple did take a dry. The grayling I am catching this year not infrequently show evidence of cormorant damage. Not unexpected after the low and clear conditions.

Stunning day on the upper Wye on a great beat. Water with a touch of colour and at about 11 degrees. sedge and some up-wings about.
No fish of notable size landed, two better fish slipped the hook. All on nymphs. No rising fish but I couldn't stay late and expect there would have been fish on the fin taking dry sedge patterns later on.

A difficult day with rain. Missed a couple on nymph but grayling very quiet. Afternoon brought some trout up but nothing of size this time.... though bigger fish present for sure...
