We dodged the NE wind and went “dry or die”. A very short window with some good but difficult to cover fish. Pleased to find one that obliged. Plenty of Kingfisher and Dippers spotted. The river is waking up, but slowly!

Spent a few hours from mid morning to mid afternoon hoping for a small hatch of some kind but nothing. I tried wets, dry dropper and still nothing. River was a tad high and the sun was very bright. All in all my hopes for an early season fish were shot.
Some nice pools and the section below the bridge looks like a good spot when the fish want to play. Lots of the lower beat had poor access to the water.
