Used feeder and pellets by the hut

Pleasant weather conditions, caught fish on meat from woods and first field.

Unfortunately we only had time for a few hours fishing in the morning, caught 1 eel of about 2lb and lost one good fish.

Only fished from 07:00 - 09:00 due to personal commitments. Had 2 chub around 3lb. Lost a bigger one. The river was looking good. I was fishing in the woods. Watch out getting down there - don't take too much tackle as it is a steep slope and you need a hand to hold on :)

Decided to fish near the hut and give the wooded section a miss this time,5 good size Barbel from 5 lbs up to 8 lbs 2 oz,also plenty of Chub with fish up to 4 lbs.

Tried for barbel again but only had one small one early morning by the hut, chub featured strongest most of the day with two fish over 5lb all falling to 8 my halibut pellets on ledger and pva or feeders.
Lots of weed running though today making fishing tricky at times. Best sport was early on today.

River still low and clear but cloud cover helped. All fish caught on pellet.

river low and clear, very bright. all chub over 3lb, caught on pellet.
