Unfortunately we arrived too late in the day to fish this beat. However I did take a look - and there's plenty of water to fish - and from mainly grassed banks... Although it did look snaggy in some of the more likely swims!
I would call it more than a short walk down to the river though. And quite a long way further if you want to fish at the far end of the beat... That's why I decided against it at 4:30 in the afternoon.

Bright sunny day, river in good condition, caught Barbel up to 7lb 9oz & Chub to 4lb 11oz and Dace on both pellets/casters. Lovely stretch would book again, many thanks.

5 Barbel, 4 Chub, 8 Other

Great day, river in good condition, fished the Church Stream Pool, had 6 Barbel during the morning then the last 3 in the last 90 minutes. Most fish between the 5-6lb range, 1 of 8lb 8ozs and the best of 10b 2ozs. All fish caught on Elips pellets.

Nice beat with plenty of places to fish, all fish caught on the feeder and pellets river in good condition. I will book this beat again, thank you.

2 Barbel, 5 Chub

Warm, sunny and cloudy spells. River starting to come up, not too much colour. Still on the feeder with mag. Barbel up to 8lbs, most 5lbs upwards. Chub up to 4 1/2lbs.
got bitten off three times! 3 x by Chub and a Pike. Hard walk back up the slope again.

17 Barbel, 13 Chub

Still on the feeder-mag, had one Barbel on pellet. Barbel ranging from 8oz to 8lbs, Chub 1 1/2 to 4 1/2lbs. lots of silvers Dace and Roach. Low clear river, warm, showers most of the morning, sunny and cloudy pm.
Not able to put any money in collection box (for parking).
Killer walk back up the slope with all the gear, at the end of a long day, would be nice to get other access, even on foot, top end maybe?

4 Barbel, 12 Chub, 20 Other

River was low and a bright sunny day. First time on the creel. It's a lovely stretch will plenty of swims available. Started in the field nearest Foy bridge. Fished the far bank and middle with feeder and pellet but no bites. Moved to the first swim inside the gate next to the track you walk down. First three casts resulted in three chub to 3lb. An hour later had a 7lb barbel. Then three more to 8lb 10oz and another small chub!
Nice stretch with plenty of potential.

Fished 4pm to 7pm, best barbel 8.02 on 2x10mm boilies. Thanks to all at wuf.

Second day on the Fishery, learnt again not to fish the same swims. Another very hot clear day. Because of limited swims we decided to only fish the morning. River is low, needs a flush through. Only 1 Barbel and 4 Chub to feeder method on Pellet. Thanks to the Wye and Usk for four days great fishing.
