Barbel 2nd cast at 7lb 7 and then only chub came to the feed, some nice size chub up-to 5lb. Conditions looked perfect shame about the fishermen. Could have caught chub all day long smashing the feeder and pop a robin red on they love them. Back in October can’t wait.

Split this with 2 tickets on Foy Bridge between 4 of us. Only 3 fished due to Covid - yes it's still here and it was horrible, worse than last time! Came with hallucagenetic dreams but I had just come back from a music festival - I didn't know the Wye had 3 headed flying fish?
Overcast, warm with a good level and bit of colour. Steve fished just into the third field in the morning and blanked. PJ moved above him in the afternoon and after a blank start had a purple patch of 8 nice chub on hemp feeder and meat.
