River up even more today, loads of leaves coming down made it tough tbh. Nice to meet our friendly land owner, a true Gent and fellow Yorkshireman. Pellet and groundbait feeder fish caught along the full stretch

Did an hour session in the morning with a single barbel, then returned for a few hours in the afternoon. When I returned the river had risen by at least 3 or 4 feet and was raging through. I found a slack at the end of the stretch and managed to get a Wye double. The amount of debris coming down (including entire trees!) made it hard to fish barely a rod length out with a 6oz lead. Always a stunning beat to fish.

started fishing around 10 am with river rising started to catch quite well but by 2 30 pm the river was 4 feet up and within the next hour could not hold bottom with 8 oz lead so called it a day ,shame.

Great day, fished the same swim all day with fish turning up reasonably regularly from mid morning onwards.

Best barbel was 8lb 4ozs

All fish caught on pellets, with PVA bag of pellets attached.

6 Barbel, 5 Chub
