Very hot day all fish fell to normal feeder tactics.

River perfect, Weather very bright. Most of the action late evening!

Not as prolific as expected for this beat fishing 5pm til dusk. Usual pellet and feeder tactics.

Other fish was an eel. Cracking day with bites coming throughout the day. So many hungry chub the barbel didn't stand a chance!

River very coloured and rising, seemed a bit out of sorts. A bit disappointing, but nice beat with very good access.

Only managed an hour on this stretch as we had double booked with another fishery.

Fished a variety of swims in the upper part of the beat all fish falling throughout the days fishing with no breaks in the bites. River was spot on coloured up, a bit of pace and up in height.

Fished a ledgered boilie hookbait and pellet feeder. Barbel were from 2lb - 8lb and the chub all in the 1lb - 3lb range. Great fun on my favourite beat and despite scaling the gear down it still made me sweat on the walk to and from the car.

Great to see two small barbel in the 2lb range caught.
