Very low and clear, bright sunshine. 2 fish on a nymph, 1 on a dry in the morning. No hatches, saw just a few small olives coming off and a few splashy rises. From lunchtime swimming and bbqing at the bottom 3 pools meant fishing was curtailed.

Dry fly and small nymph. Strong East wind very hard.

River running well, water clear, but Low air temperatures and a cold upstream wind contributed to no discernible rises. one 25cm WBT caught (and returned) early afternoon to a small dry fly.

Lovely few hours Good hatch of MBs at 1pm - took a while to find an imitation they'd take. 3rd attempt:
Then 1 fish about the pound - beautiful condition. Hatch lasted about 45 mins then totally dead

One nice brown about 1lb. Weighted hares ear nymph. Hard fishing conditions. Fish returned.

Sunny, bright still day, no rises other than a short period mid day during which two brown trout taken to dry fly.

Very bright and still. Small hatch in the early pm. CdC emerger worked well.

Tried dry (with March brown) and wet (gold headed nymph)- no joy
