River Fairly low and very clear and a gusty easterly upstream wind ,One Fish spotted between hut catch and cockscomb,it was midstream ,resting behind a large sunkun tree,it looked a good double.I tried everthing in my armoury,but it showed no interest.Also two pike and a chub on a red shfc .No other fish were seen

One very silver Fish took a copper spoon at the end of the retrieve but failed to connect, and shook off, estimated at around 6-7lbs.and a very hard fighting jack pike of around 5lbs which gave a few seconds of excitement, this was taken on a red single hook flying c. Nothing else was seen, the River level and clarity were perfect, although it was still very cold and we saw nothing showing on the surface and no fly life

Very warm day, I saw one decent fish on beat 5 , and had a follow from a large pike on beat 2 nothing else seen, also the river showed no sign of green algae
