Llyn semi full, up to the grass verges so mostly mud and rock on the bottom. Easy access all around, unlike when it is full. Generally still with occassional gentle breeze and mainly overcast. Fished the morning up to noon. No takes on daddies/mayfly or pennell, but small Kate Mclaren pulled in a nice Brown trout on the last cast: 13”, 313gms

A very picturesque venue, which was fished for a couple of hours. It is well sheltered from the wind, with good access and parking. Water level was bank high. One of the trout caught by AP was a really nice one, perhaps 17 inches. The others were quite small. There are certainly fish in this lake!

Water level very high (highest I’ve ever seen it) which makes access to the waters edge difficult in most places, due to trees and steep banks. Some sizeable rises out in the deep waters with only a few venturing nearer even as dusk fell, but nothing taking what I was offering.

1 x small brown trout caught and released on barbless cruncher (black and silver) close to waters edge. Water has risen dramatically over the past week now covering areas of grass rather than just mud when water is very low.

This water was devoid of any fish, there were no rises of movement on the lake during the whole morning.
Water level was about half full.
Totally disgusted that the permits were sold for fishing and not just dangling a hook in water.
Am unlikely to be fishing there again.
Fishing Passport Note : We are sorry to hear of your disgust. The water will understandably be low due to the unseasonal dry spell of weather. Purchasing a ticket to fish does not guarantee catching fish.

Fly fished for a couple of hours. Nothing rising, water level was lower than usual and quite a wind when we were here.

Water low in the reservoir and warm. No sign of anything moving to the surface in the afternoon until about 6pm. 1 small brown trout on a sinking line with hare's ear nymph about 5:30 then 2 medium sized brownies on floating line with a Black Pennell. All fish caught at the deeper dam end and returned.
