Lovely beat. river quite clear with the trouts mainly sunbathing at the pool's tails. small olive hatch but very few proper rises.
managed to loose 3 trouts, one on the nymph and two on the dry.

A couple of hours in the morning in beautiful sunshine with the river now gin clear produced 1 12in trout. Sadly had to leave before things warmed up literally and metaphorically, as they did the day before.

A small hatch of LDO's commenced around mid day and the odd fish rose but to no pattern. Covered all fish seen rising and had 2 fish come and look at the fly but no hook ups. Several patterns tried but to no avail.
