Conditions perfect and plenty of fly life, but a lack of fish. All fish taken on small caddis pupa imitation. Fish between 10 and 14".

Nice beat. Hot day, but caught one.

Hot and muggy during the day cloudy and breezy later. Plenty of fly life but no real rise until dusk. Most fish small and taken on nymph. 4 better fish on dry at dusk but nothing of note.

Intermediation course at Gliffaes. Lots of rain lead us up the system in search of clear water. We found it.

Tough conditions with gin clear water and a down stream beeze, managed 6 trout to 1lb. Lots of fish sipping insect off the top in the slack pools but scatter as soon as you cast to them.
