Fishing was very average on the allowed beat, I could see many fish rising above and below the beat limits which suggests there's too much pressure on this beat. A little Disappointed.

WUF note: Angler numbers at Fenni Fach and other Passport beats are carefully managed to ensure they not over-pressurised. Only 5 anglers had fished the 1.5 mile stretch in the 23 days since the season start prior to this visit. More fish observed rising on adjoining beats could not therefore be due to “too much pressure” at Fenni Fach.

A Lovely day and blessed with a flurry of March Browns for a 15 minute spell.

Beat would best suit confident waders and left hand casters.
Modest LDO and march brown hatch. Best fish 14".

Fly fishing, nymph and wet fly. Catch and release. High water.

Lovely morning fishing with some rain but unfortunately, apart from sighting a very large brown trout, I caught nothing.
Will be back to try again. Ollie

Wash off, sadly. We had couple hours of clear water then 2ft rise in space of minutes, difficult to wade and fish for. Called a day. Still managed to catch a pair of nice trouts.
