Had great day mostly euro nymphing 3 sewin on the nymps did take few on the drys the best brown of the day to a dry the rain did come down from lunchtime I was soaked through

Didn't end up fishing. Phoned your staff to enquire. Got told couldn't fish at location we were at. Needed to go further downstream. By that time kids were fed up with the mess around. Disappointed.

Pollution evident in this stretch, water smell, algae buildup really shows with low water, fish will struggle here despite stocking.

No luck for myself as a novice, but a local club member was showing me photos of 3 he had caught today and they were good size fish as well as a sewin caught last week.
Definitely worth a visit.

Hard work. Lots of algae in the river making the wading very slippery. Managed a surprise sea trout on nymph towards the bottom of the beat. Very cold for late April.
