A lovely day on Pond Rhosrydd, showing my brother in law this wonderful fishery. We had 1 x each on nymphs and then responding to rising fish, we had 3 to daddies and Midas. Missed/lost a few each as is normal to surface rising fish, using barbless hooks.

My first trip to Pond Rhosrydd and what a great day's fishing it was. There was a good breeze blowing and it was overcast with a little rain in the morning and 90 minutes rain in the afternoon. I fished an intermediate line with a damsel and later I tried a GHD, (barbless - which means a number of clever fish shook themselves free). The fish were about 3 to 4 rod lengths out and about 10 foot down. Beautiful Brownies, some were wild and others were stockies (maybe previous years), all my fish were just under or just over 2lb. The fish came on strong in the rain in the afternoon, even rising during the rain, but I could not seem to work out the correct dry fly. Will have to come back to get my dry fly fishing game on here. Thank you AAA. I will be back.

Some large trout rising when we arrived. When we had worked out the solution which was a tiny F fly, the rise was nearly over but one good brown was taken around 1 3/4lb and 2 more lost due to the tiny fly.
We then went around to Frongoch and managed 2 rainbows and 3 more browns. These were on hares ear nymphs.
We felt that the directions to Rhosrydd could do with updating because the map supplied takes you to a gateway with a sign saying no access and nowhere to park. We walked down via a footpath only to find there is vehicle access and parking on a track not on the map, and the tiny AAA signage on the lane faces the wrong way so you cannot see it when you come in from the main road. Anyway we shall know this for another time.

Short morning session in terrible conditions - easterly wind and bright sunshine. Had a couple of good trout fishing streamers on intermediate line.

Nice day at Rhosrydd - caught 6 but lost a few too. 4 fish over 2lb and all in perfect condition. Pulling wet flies on a intermediate line on both banks.

My last day of my fishing adventure on the wonderful A A A Llyn's, I went up to Llyn-yr-oerfa.
The weather was very mixed to say the least 4 seasons in a day. Just before breakfast I hooked into a fine 1 pound brownie, lovely fish on the (turbine / parking side), after breakfast I walked round fishing the dam wall then up the track to the 3 cottage side there I hooked in to a beautiful 2 and half pound Brownie lovely colours.
Both fish were released back ok.

Hi
I fished Llyn Blaenmelindwr & Rhosgoch however no fish caught. Therefore I went up to Llyn Syfydrin their I caught 3 wild Brownies all returned ok here there were plenty of fish showing all round.
