1 Trout

Weather cloudy with a westerly wind. Fished Rhosgoch for a couple of hours without success so moved down to Blaenmelindwr, which was sheltered from the wind and caught 2 brown trout that had been feeding on damsel flies.

We had a very enjoyable day moving around the Aber pools close to Rhosgoch. We managed 18 fish between us. The fish were not rising freely, but we managed to get them to come up and slash at surface fished hopper patterns fished across the ripple. Great fun.

An overcast day with a north wind. Some fish showing but no consistent rise.

Lovely days fishing and we missed the rain.
Fish were rising sporadically at times during the day and all were caught on dry sedges. stalking individual moving fish.
3 from Rhosgoch and one from Blaenmelidwr, one noteable at around 1.8lb. Thanks to AAA for a well kept venue with good maps, directions & info.
My companion had 3, again on dries.
All fish safely returned

Quite windy today so a bit challenging!! A few fish showing on Blaenmelindwr and had a few half hearted takes but nothing landed.

Novice angler so don’t blame the fish for the zero catch return on a very unpromising weather day

Fished Rhosgoch for 1 stocked trout of about a 1lb. Nothing much happening, tried Blaenmelindwr, had another stockie 1lb or so and missed a few small fish. Off to llyn Syfydrin in afternoon. In warm humid conditions a huge fall of flying ants got the fish stirred up, but they preferred a skated sedgehog or muddler near the margins, which were full of sedge. Around a dozen wild fish to hand, missed plenty more. Most 10 inches with a couple 12 - 13 inch.

Didn't see or catch anything in a cold north wind so moved to Llyn Syfydrin.
