Very sadly I did not fish today.
I wanted to check out the Mellte/Nedd fechan beats as the rivers there looks a lot of fun looking at pics online but all the designated car parking spots where full or closed off!
I noticed a wardens van in the area too so wasnt inclined to chance it anywhere else and double yellow lines on lanes in the area!
Ah well, another time hopefully. Was damned hot anyways....

What a day out. Two brownies euro nymphing one didn’t fit in the net possibly 3lb+ in perfect condition.
Fell in, at the weir, lost my bifocal polarised glasses, found my glasses then moved to the upper pool, and caught two with the dry fly feeding on mayfly emergers.
Wonderful day out. Walkers by the riverside were very friendly. Definitely recommend this river.

Lots of water after the rains, but nonetheless fishing still going for nymphing. Had the most success toward the bottom of the neath.
