Fished Widdybank. River at good level, presumably water coming in from Cow Green. Not a touch in first hour, then started to find fish on duo. They were even faster than I remembered and I missed many takes and lost half a dozen.

My fishing was hampered by the fact that due to arthritis in my right hand, had to cast left handed. This was not helped by a stiff downstream breeze. However, did manage to raise some fish, and landed 3, all caught on a size 18 black griffiths gnat.
