1 oost. Quickly returned. No sign of grayling today. Very cold wet and grey. Beat is lovely. Some access issues mid beat due to flood damage. Could do with a sort out in the summer

0, nil, nothing, not even a bite. Still great to get out though.

Slow start, but soon picked up, 3 fished. Dan leader and kieth cadogan 15 grayling mostly on Squirmy worms.

Low river and cold, wet conditions made fishing difficult and therefore we only caught one grayling the size of my thumb, stark contrast to 2 weeks ago.

Lovely day in mid-Wales on a lovely beat I have been wanting to fish for a couple of years. Surprisingly mild and fish were rising from 1pm to 2pm in the long bend pool. I throught they were trout when the classic red tag was ignored. The change to a Ducks dun was taken first cast by a grayling, which then put the pool down!

Between us we brought 7 grayling brought to hand. One of 6oz, 4 between 10oz and 1lb, with 2 around 1.5lb. One on dry, one on nymph and the rest of klink and dink. 6 OSS trout to around a pound as well. Hooked a mid teen salmon on a holo nymph, it was fun while it lasted. The barbless hook should fall out. A couple of other salmon showed in the beat which was good to see.
