Only two rods fished. Cooler day with light showers Chub eager to feed taking a range of baits all between three and four and half pound . The barbel 7lb plus took a shrimp and krill hooker. All fish in good condition.

First of three days back on the wye begins here at holme lacy 3 and no better place to begin all three of us catching some lovely chub and barbel excellent start hopefully the next two will be as good

Fantastic fishing on both float and feeder. Fished feeder morning and later afternoon/evening. Picked up barbel and pellet. All toward the end of the beat. Float fished drying the day and at times a chub a cast and very decent size too. Caught on 6mm pellet. Also picked up 3-4 barbel on the float as well as a bonus. Great stretch of the Wye for sure.
