What can I say, Chub were everywhere and was getting one a chuck. All chub were caught on float and feeder tactics. Lengthen the hair to 2 inches & believe it or not, 4 inches and was still getting chub, they did start getting less frequent which gave time for the barbel to find the bait. An SSG an inch from the hook was the turning point which saw me hook 9 barbel, landing 5. All between 3-5lb. Great days fishing and will definitely return.

a very well kept beat spent all day float fishing all the chub 3 to 4 pounds and biggest barbel about 6 ish bread corn and meat all worked well river very low and greenish in colour most of the fish had lice on them but appeared healthy.
