One barbel.on ledgered meat.

We caught 13 Barbel up to 8lb 9oz, the river was rising fast & we decided to pack up early as it looked like it was about to burst its banks, last day on the river today this season, thanks to WUF & the landowners for allowing access to the various beats.

4th Angler did not fish.

Best barbel 8.12, best chub 4.8. River had risen significantly from previous day so some swims opposite the wood were not accessible.

10 Barbel, 1 Chub

Biggest barbel 7.6, biggest chub 4.9. River was up a little but most swims were fishable. A word for Stefan the bailiff, who was most welcoming, offered advice if asked and has done an excellent job making swims accessible.

Water Temperature had dropped further from yesterday, made the fishing tough.

a much colder river meant a hard day on the bank It was a beautiful day though and I meet so lovely fellow anglers who were very generous with there wine Thanks guys

Conditions were good apart from the quick drop in water temperature
