Fished just for the evening in the lower field. All fish caught on the feeder with krill boilies. The best chub was just over 4lb, the barbel was about 6lb.

Sunny evening fishing only. All fish caught on meat ledgering. River low & slow, not much action.

Overcast to start with damp in the air. 2 5lb barbel first thing with a few chub late morning. Met my 2 mates for lunch in the pub and the three of us fished in the afternoon through to 2030. I had a number of chub on the float down the bottom and 4 more on the feeder up the top. Mr P had 3 barbel late on to 8lb. SM struggled in a shallow swim below him and really should have moved but barbel were in the area. Feeders and pellets took most of the fish, hemp and meat on the float.

Not the best conditions with low river and high temperatures. We didn’t have high expectations but managed to winkle out a few

Hard day fishing river level was real low, seen plenty of chub moving around only managed to catch 1, did have a good take which I think was a barbel took me into a snag and popped the hook, can’t win them all, I will return to this beat sometime

Only fished a few hours on an evening ticket
Caught 1 barbel of about 5lb on luncheon meat & cage feeder from the rope pool.

Blazing sunshine and a low, clear river did not encourage me, but I persevered until 10.00 pm. However, the barbel did not oblige.
