An entertaining day with plenty of chub showing, but no barbel-3 anglers.

River very low and bright sunshine - nothing doing apart from 1 barbel of 9-4. Nice beat although not too many accessable swims.

We caught 3 Barbel best 8lb 15oz & 10 Chub, back in October hopefully with a bit more water!

A tough ish day for three of us but enjoyable as always. A few chub and 2 Barbel between us but our 4th angler had a great day trotting for Chub in shallow water. Numerous caught with the biggest a beautiful 5lb 8oz and a PB. He also had an 8lb 13oz Barbel to finish as the sun dropped off.
A great beat to fish with excellent access.

Good days fishing with Fran having a number of good Barbel to 8lb.12oz and a Chub of 5lb.8oz.My Chub were smaller best 3lb and best Barbel 8lb....moved swims 5 times to locate the fish and fished well from 6pm.Met Stefan the bailiff who gave us good info and has done great job on some of the swims with steps and ropes.V enjoyable day on a lovely beat...will be back.

V low levels and had to move to find any fish.. all came in last hour.Canoes were fine but SUP's a problem.
