No fish caught, river was in spate conditions.

Had a short afternoon session due to really heavy rain through the morning, but still had a couple of fish, a chub from the top swim, and a nice Barbel from the concrete strip by the car park.

1 Barbel, 1 Chub

very windy, low and clear ,beware the cows on the vertical slurry slide!

River very low as expected. All catches were on variations of pellets.

4 Barbel, 8 Chub

River very low as expected, but it is clear and it’s good to see more weed than on our previous visits but fish hard to come by. Very few bites and only one Barbel between two anglers.

One dug out a Peg on the top section the other fished the bottom section. Not one bite!

Upstream fishery isas many othershave said, completely overgrown. Conditions were low and slow and bites hard to come by. All fish in last hour

Back in the Why after 3 years ,nothing has changed for the better regarding bankside ,overgrown and swims all dangerous for old grimmers like me ,but fishing as good as ever .

A baking hot day with low water, so conditions were far from ideal. Two rods blanked, the third caught 7 nice chub float fishing a fast run at the bottom of the beat.
As mentioned by other rods, the part of the beat above the car park is completely inaccessible because of very steep banks and impenetrable undergrowth. There is some lovely water in this section and the beat would be greatly improved if at least a couple of access points were created.

Looked spot on with a bit of extr water but had to work a bit harder than expected.
