Hot, bright day. Not ideal conditions! Despite that, we caught quite a reasonable number of fish on nymphs fished at the head of the pools. A lot of this beat is slow moving dry fly water which is very tricky if the conditions don't suit. Shame it's not combined with Abercrynig any more.

Impressive beat. Fish from 8-10 ins all returned alive. Summer level river with a difficult wind. Enjoyable will definitely book again

Fair day with reasonable hatch and fish rising in one or two locations. Dry fishing hampered by downstream wind and only managed to rise a couple of fish on CDC olives. Caught a WBT on PTN which was returned unharmed.

Very hot day so lucky to get anything , two trout caught on nymphs in fast water , rest on dries very last thing (they waited till you could just barely see the fly ) caught on small CDC flies (baby sun /ducks dun type flies)

Hot Hot Hot!! Plenty of small fish during the day mainly to nymph and small emergers. Evening rise finally came good with fish to 2.5lb on dries, PHD and Beacon Beige when spinners started to fall.

Water low and clear.Fish responded to spiders and dries. Managed 6 fish to 1 3/4 lbs. Could have been a much more successful day apart from a really strong down stream wind.

Water becoming very low and clear. Took four fish to spiders then iron blues hatched around 6 pm. Took another 6 fish to 2lbs 8oz. Great fishing.
