Three fish caught on fly and three on worm.

1 perch caught on worm. Hard to catch the trout as they were more interested in the illegal powerbait fishing methods being used by the other anglers there. I think more bailiff visits are in order.

Very windy. 3 rainbows, 1 smaller brown. Site suffers from the litter left behind by bait fishermen and illegal campers.

My first visit this season and all I can say is that this place is rapidly going downhill. Litter and evidence of campfires everywhere, even in the fly only areas. Also this is the first season that I've seen evidence of bait fishing in the fly only areas. I suspect that due to lack of supervision this place is heavily poached. The road is also in a disgraceful state after recent forestry operations.
Llys y Fran is good value for money. This place no longer is.

2 perch caught and returned. Sunny day quite windy. Fish caught on worm and polyballs
