Very windy day, wind coming straight over dam wall, nowhere to hide. 4 trout on pop up worm, also 3 perch 6-8 inches, which were returned safely.

Fine sunny day with light breeze. Fished NE shore. 3 x 2.5 - 3lb rainbows caught on small gold head damsel and floating line. One 3lb rainbow caught on small mepps. A good day in fine visibility.

Bright sunny afternoon, fairly strong wind at times, spent the afternoon spinning close to the first car park using all types and sizes but blanked.

Brilliant day. Weather, setting and hungry feisty trout.

Catch return here also for LLwyn On on Sunday 7th June where I had 1 x 4 fish ticket. Caught 2 but left mid day.
Usk fish are far more energetic for some reason than those in Llwyn On yet I understand they come from the same source for re-stocking.

Please note 0 fish. Sat for 13hrs and not a fish taken, not even a single bite.

4 trout caught on pop up worm all around 2lb mark. 1 perch caught and released about 6ins whilst ledgering.

Fly Only area. Broken cloud and strong S.W.breeze. Started slowly but once I found the right depth etc. I was hitting fish on a regular basis. Very little surface activity and managed to land 5 fish which were taken on GRHE nymph. Things went quiet late afternoon and managed to take fish number 6 on a small muddler headed sedge type pattern on the surface. A great day.
It's a shame that such a fantastic venue is so neglected by Welsh Water. So much more could be done to improve access to the Fly Only sections of water and as always, discarded litter is evident everywhere.
