Caught 7 rainbow between 2 rods - 4 on spinner and 3 on fly.
Very slow start, fished in the bay by the Water Tower then in the bay by the entrance where 1 fish was caught on spinner. Then fished by the other side of the dam opposite the ticket office but on the edge of the concrete where the bank starts where 1 fish was lost on fly.
Finally moved over to the side by the ticket shed around 11.00 and caught another 6 fish - 3 on spinner and 3 on fly. Had to leave around 12.30 otherwise we probably would have caught our limits. Lost around 3 fish each inbetween 11.00 and 12.30, good sport but fish were jumping and shaking off the hooks.
NB: If you're spinning or using fly you should move around until you find the fish unless they are visible and can be seen rising. All in all a good mornings fishing - challenging yet satisfying.

Started fishing on the NW shore at 10 in a very brisk SW breze. No luck until after 1.00 p.m. then total of 10 Rainbows caught between the two rods ranging from 1.5lb to a very fine 3lb 6oz fish. All fish in very good condition. Sadly the litter problem persists and analysis indicates clearly that it is left by fishermen.
Why spoil such a wonderful location?

Was ask to go back again so thought it cannot be worse than last time. It was not, I had 8 fish. 2 of us fishing, fish were still on the small size so we put back 5 of them. I am still concerned about the size of the fish being stocked.
