A warm start to the day the res was mirror calm not a ripple anywhere. A trout first cast on worm lifted off bottom, then not a bite for 2 hours. Sun was quite hot then a slight breeze put some nice ripple on the res, fish 2 3 4 and 5 all caught within a 45 min spell 3 on worm fished around 10 yards out. Trout number 5 caught on gold Abu dropped 12 grams spinner.
Trout number 6 on a bubble float around 30 yards out with about a 6 foot tail hook length on worm.
Trout 7 the last of the day was back on the same spinner as Trout number 5. Packed up around 2 as the sun was getting a bit too hot.
A BIG PROBLEM AT THE RES IS THE AMOUNT OF DISCARDED FISHING LINE LEFT ON THE BANK.
" PLEASE EVERYONE TAKE YOUR OLD LINE AND LITTER HOME WITH YOU".
