We returned to this lake as we were unable to fly fish on Llwyn on.

Beautiful day but very windy. Frequent showers throughout the day. Very beautiful place. We mainly fished with wet flies and streamers.

Due to no fish showing and the weather we retreated to the pub after a couple of knocks on small lure patterns. Don't be put off this is a cracking water for small brownies

I brownie caught and 1 lost
Overcast morning, sunnier later, gentle ripple on most of the reservoir. Very few rises seen.
I caught on a spider, 1 lost on a small streamer.

Having watched the video of this beat on your site, it suggests fishing the far end where the river flows into the reservoir, It would be helpful to anglers if instructions could be included as to how to access this part of the reservoir. My 10-year-old daughter and I walked through a very boggy, muddy, path through an overgrown forest trail to reach this area, not realising we could have walked the road route and easily crossed the river which would have taken half the time. Thanks
