Another day of no bites and no fish this time last year it was fishing well but this year so far no good at all bailiff said it was stocked yesterday well knowing stock fish as I do they should be hungry and searching for food you would think ? So in last 3 week I have spent £66 plus fuel for 1 fish ???? Don’t think I will be back for a while new venue I think ?

Caught a rainbow trout at the end of the reservoir near the visitor centre. We were using spinners which meant we couldn't fish the rivers, but the reservoir was great. We fished at a few different spot one each side, but only lucky near the visitor centre.
We travelled from Pontneddfechan where we were staying. The fishing passport was really helpful in helping us find somewhere we could fish. Kids were gutted we couldn't fish the river but we don't fly fish and didn't have what was needed for worm.
Nonetheless the boys enjoyed and at least we caught 1!

Another bad day fishing. Not sure how much stock or when it is stocked. Only 1 fish for two anglers after 10 hours fishing. Not sure how much longer I'll be paying nearly £20 to fish here.
