All caught on worm.

3 Trout

Fishing conditions and weather good. 4 fish permit completed by lunchtime with rainbow trout varying from 2lb to 3+lbs (stopped fishing approx noon).
All fish caught by ledger with floating worm.

Reservoir fished well, everyone else else seemed to be catching their quota too. All under 1.5 pounds though, would be nice to catch a few bigger fish next time!

On worm from our garden. 8 rainbows, 1 blue. All of a similar size - around 2lbs.

Three fish caught on worm one on spinner. The otter was about in the morning - nice to see but a pain in the butt.

Fished as I would a wild lough in Ireland, but the static anglers were too plentiful to be able to keep moving; many of them practising dark and mysterious arts unknown to the naive fly angler! Still, the only trout I did manage was quite small and perfectly finned so I guess it was not a wild fish. Not really the place to go if you love wild fishing.

I caught 4 fish with worm. Good day, really enjoyed it, chatted to other anglers, they were having a good day too.
