No fish seen or caught, this beat + Gromain + the Rectory 2 rods 4 visits no fish seen or caught. Time to fish elsewhere.

Lovely beat and Nathan’s tuition was very helpful. Water slightly too high, no fish

Too high to fish to properly and also a bit dirty no wash of awarded, was 120 on the gauge probably need to be another foot lower to fish properly.

River high (1.6m at redbrook) and still coloured so left the fly rod and waders in the car. Covered all the water between little run and cockpit with the spinner over 6 hours but nothing doing. Saw one fish head and tail on the far side in hudsons but not much else - they're running straight through. Will try again another day

River was very high and still quite coloured, fished hard all day, very difficult to fish without knowing where the rocks and obstacles were. Croy was under water, ladders and steps to most Pools were inaccessible due to high water. Would like to fish Beat under more favourable river conditions.

Water high and very cloudy.

One fish lost from triangles. Lots of fish seen whilst fishing little run but despite covering them fairly well nothing showed interest.
