Had a wonderful day at Upper Bigswear but alas no fish caught.

2 very enjoyable days seeing more Wye fish than for many years. Too bright and lowish water so not surprised at a nil return. Very well looked after by NJ for both days on this lovely beat. Will return soon.

Coloured falling water with fish showing early afternoon and evening. Magnificent setting. I'll be back.

Great day but sadly no fish - although a few rising through the day. Excellent beat, Nathan the ghillie is really helpful.

Lots of fish moving through the beat. Water carrying some colour but clearing slowly throughout the day. Put a fly through Little Stream a few times and span the rest.

Lots of fish in the river I tried spinning with flying C's and the fly for most of the time but no takes.

The river was on the high side and had a tinge of colour in it. We met Nathan in the morning and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He showed us the main areas on how to fish the pools. We started with the fly and then focused with the spinner later on as the river was not clearing. It is a lovely beat and Nathan has been working hard to clear the banks. I can see with less water then there would be some lovely bits of fly water. There were plenty of fish moving through the beat but no fish for us as they were running through the beat. A good day out and I will defiantly return.
