A complete blank. Tryed pellet and meat in several swims but not even a tickle. A cold snap after sustained mild weather probably did not help.

River low and bites hard to come by, 2.5lb chub on cell boilie and a 16lb 3oz pike on a smelt. Approx 20 salmon seen.

Fabulous day to finish the season, though the weather was resemblant of a typical summers day! Fish were certainly there, some doing aerial acrobatics but none came to the fly. All frustration was muted by the sheer pleasure of fishing there, can't wait for next season.
