Worryingly I saw several cormorants just downstream from Foy bridge. These birds were actively feeding on fish under the surface of the river and should be culled. There are too many of them.

All fish to pellet and feeder tactics.Fished swims on left hand bank where chub preferred faster paced water although barbel caught in the deeper slower water in peg nearer bridge.
