No fish from the gravel beach in the AM . Great spot but only 3 swims the whole length of the beat 2 of which are landing gravel beaches for canoe's. Don't park at the church you will have to walk a mile up stream to the first gravel beach. Like Thomas Wood which I walked in the afternoon pegs need to be established to warrant a £25 per charge good job as I was the only angler over the two days @ Wyastone Leys

A difficult day, river low and bright sunshine. Had to wait until sunset but 2 good barbel from the woods made the day. Both needed to be well rested but went back ok. Caught from pre baited swim with a small lead and long hooklength. One on krill dumbbell and the other on 8mm robin reds.

I walked the length of the beat and found some swims would be difficult to cast a feeder out but did have ago at three different swims with the last one being the cattle drinking swim and managed one Barbel 8.5lb and one eel looks good for float fishing
