Arrived at the river mid morning and it was looking good! Trotting as usual the main flow and had plenty of small chub. However the barbel decided to show and caught 3 between 5/7 lb all on the stick float. Fantastic sport as I always say 1 on the stick is worth 20 on the lead. Also managed a chub 4lb. Once again thank you Team and the river Wye for a wonderful days fishing. God bless the queen..

Cage feeders used by both anglers.. Steady following river for an enjoyable mornings fishing until the heavy rain forced us to leave.

The river is absolutely full of blanket weed, which makes fishing impossible. Tried for 2 hours and gave up.
£25 wasted , plus 3 hours travel.
If the river is in this condition, then anglers need to be advised. I wouldn't have made the effort had I known this.
This is my second trip when I've been unable to fish due to bank and river conditions.
Not happy.

Trotting the main flow was a pleasure with beautiful scenery and plenty of wild life including a mink that graced our company. Lost count of the chub I caught and managed to catch 6 chub between 3/ 5lb. Fantastic sport on the stick float. Unfortunately the barbel didn’t show however great day on the wye.
Thanks fishing passport and again thank you the river wye.

Conditions good and a steady flow. Trotting the main flow for barbel but couldn’t get through the chub, however lost count of the chub I caught on the stick. Still a great days fishing with great surroundings. Will be back trotting for the barbel . 1 barbel on the stick worth 20 on the lead.

Overgrown banks with no access to river. Dangerous for anglers to get to waterside. Considering the charge of £50 for 1 adult and 1 child is utterly shameful. The whole stretch is dangerous to negotiate
