I caught 1 barbel and 2 chub on fish meal pellets (8mm). I think the river was quite low.

I am a novice barbel fisher. This was my first barbel.

Fished the wooded section. Fished pellet, meat and boilie for one trout and eels on meat, no barbel or chub. Tough day, I'm sure would fish better with some more water on. Absolutely stunning scenery, I'll definitely be back.

Only fished for three hours mid morning. No bites on meat, pellet or boilie.
