Levels were good but all colour had dropped out the river.
Only stayed for 2 hours. Pack up to move to the lower wye in the hope of better conditions

First wye gudgeon! Caught on maggot feeder and chub on pellets and boilies. Fish in calmer water. Saw a salmon leaping and a pair of otters which looked dumbfounded by my presence.

Tricky day as expected, water low & clear, clear skies (after the fog lifted) cold start & around 8 degrees cooler than the previous day.

River was at a steady height, running clear. Barbel at 11lb was a highlight.
