River a quite low as expected but there are some deeper swims with good flow in the field below the orchard. A beautiful place to go Barbel fishing. Probably need to make another visit to test out the lower part of the beat. The single Barbel was around 6LB with all 4 chub over 3LB.

Had a good day but fish seemed to be shoaled up in one peg and my friend caught very little. Had 3 Barbel up to 9 lbs 11oz and 4 good Chub up to 5 lbs 3 oz.Caught Barbel on pellet and Chub on meat,river very low.

Short morning session on top part of the beat. All fish before 9am on pellet. Lots of showers that turned into heavy rain and then bright sunlight. What a lot of swans!
