River very very low and bright sunshine only fish for 3 hours tried trotting and the feeder

Caught 25 barbel all on fish meal and pellet feeder with 8 mm pellet on the hook, mostly small fish with the biggest maybe around the 4lb mark, this beat is only really fishable early or late due to canoeing or swimming activities, also 2 reasonable dace caught.

1 chub - 1.5lbs River very low and canoeists were an absolute disgrace. They should not be allowed to ruin our enjoyment.

2 small eels on meat. The canoeists ruined the swims we had built.

I fished the bottom pool with feeder and pellet and had 18 barbel with one special fish of 9.6lb, a real brute as most of the fish are in the 1 - 3lb mark , Ian fished off second cribe with the same method we both felt we should have fished the float and would have caught more , canoes were more than ever and have never seen the water that low.

Expensive days float fishing as my platform was wiped out by a canoeist and I lost all my bait and landing net .
Luckily I managed to retrieve my rod.

Another good day on wyebank . Two anglers fished not one as stated. Twenty six barbel ( mainly small) six chub and one two pound eel . River very low , all fish caught in fast water and lots of time given to recover . Please remember if you are returning fish in shallow water make sure they swim off . We had plenty of fish but oxygen levels very low . Thanks w+ u
