River was quite swollen. No rises or any fish activity observed..

River level was quite low and slow. Crystal clear water. Wildlife in abundance! Kingfishers (3 at once), a family of mink (5 or 6) tumbling and playing not 25 feet away on the other river bank, song thrush. Caught a 9 inch trout in one of the deep pools - they were chasing the nymph on the retrieve. Stunning day.

Very low, clear water: a few trout seen, a couple bumped, none landed!

Low ish but quite clear. SE wind. Mostly sunny. Caught on green gold head nymph using NZ method. Good fly life but only there for 4 hours from midday.

Unfortunately, there were several swimmers there when I arrived, so ended up not fishing it after all, as was no point to it.

No Fish to be seen.
Very picturesque, never the less.

Great looking beat, lots of likely looking pools but other than 2 hook ups that ended up coming off at the lower limit of the beat no fish caught.

Water too low to fish

Only fished for an hour as the river was low and hinting at at bloom in the deeper pools. Was delighted to get a lovely brownie, just under 1lb, though in a deep pool which took a sunken Wulff fly.

Beautiful river, gin clear. Although we didn’t see a fish or catch anything we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Only observation. A 4x4 solver Nissan came down on the opposite side 2 men fished a few runs using a spinner! Thought this was odd we didn’t approach them but thought you might need to know
