Only fished for an hour as the river was low and hinting at at bloom in the deeper pools. Was delighted to get a lovely brownie, just under 1lb, though in a deep pool which took a sunken Wulff fly.

Beautiful river, gin clear. Although we didn’t see a fish or catch anything we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Only observation. A 4x4 solver Nissan came down on the opposite side 2 men fished a few runs using a spinner! Thought this was odd we didn’t approach them but thought you might need to know

The river was on its bones. Quite a waste of time and money. Fishing passport let me down and esp. the admin. charge.
Bucknell is full of bullocks so another warning not to bother.
