Very tough conditions as the river was exceptionally low and clear. Great day nonetheless with patience paying off eventually. Multiple techniques were tried on the day with the clear winner being single banded pellet & PVA bag.
(Someone did try to sneak in and fish with out a booking but the bailiff swiftly kicked him off)

Fished late afternoon into early evening with nothing to show for my efforts.

Really low levels didn't help and with other clubs fishing the same stretch you found everyone fishing close together..

Fishing Passport Comment: On single bank fisheries, there may always be the potential for anglers fishing on the opposite bank.

Once again no fish to report from the faster water. Both the chub and barbel were caught right in close where I could watch them move in and feed. Both fish were caught in the morning and nothing seemed to be about lunchtime o wards so I left at 3pm to miss the worst of the traffic.

River flowing low and clear with not many fish showing. One bite from a chub in the evening was all that happened. I did have a nice barbel over the top of my bait but no luck. We fished the faster water thinking the fish would be there in the oxygenated water but didn't get a single bite nor did I see any fish despite chucking in some pellets. Chub was caught under the rod tip near the car park.
