Hard day to start with. Tried 3 different swims on the cage feeder with no luck. Switched to the stick and had 2 chub quite quick. Decided to move to the upper end for the last few hours and what a difference. Had a chub within minutes and a 6lb12oz barbel
Wife followed up with a 8lb.5oz barbel not long after. Fantastic day in the end and staying at the anex made the trip even better as the beats only 2 mins up the road.

River up 2mts, coloured and dropped all day. Not many areas to fish due levels but plenty of bites especially early on. As always, lovely venue with great views and wilderness

Despite difficult conditions fish, including an eel, caught on inside line on pellet.

Moved five times. Catching Chub and Barbel from all swims. Best Barbel was 9.4lbs. All fish caught on 8mm and 14mm pellet.

So back again today,both fished all day.Conditions similar to yesterday but river dropping during the day.
I caught 1 barbel and lost one.My friend had 3 barbel and 2 chub.
