River pushing through & up, walked the whole beat dropping in a few swims, current too strong to fish anywhere but the margins so settled in bottom swim with the big slack. Stayed until sunset when a nice Barbel & a couple of Chub put in an appearance which had a liking for Robin Red pellets. Lovely as always to be by the Wye

6 barbel to 9lbs 7 chub to 5lbs all caught on Vortex 14mm pellet , not a touch on meat. River pushing through all fish caught on the flow side of the crease, nothing the slacks. Lovely stretch of water only fished bottom swim of the down stream section and swim in the middle by the line of trees.
